First there was the snapped off branch of a tree which evolved into the asymmetric paddle. As man progressed he developed wings and suddenly paddlers could fly! Albeit that the original wing was like a bucket to pull, it had arrived and the real revolution had begun. Considerable work in Scandinavia by Ennier Rasmussen created a user friendly version and the Nordic was born.
The Nordic is a clean, easy to use wing with a strong catch and clean exit. Used by Sean Morley on his record breaking solo trip round the British Isles. A great racing paddle or high class bit of kit for the serious sea paddler.

The revolution of our time. Developed by Martin Heidrich and multiple world champion Lutz Liwowski, The Nordic paddle was stretched in length, given more rotation along it's axis and greater buoyancy in the neck, giving a cleaner lamina flow resulting in a large gain in power. The unique shape of the tip allows an amazingly clean entry and exit with little splash and no snatch. It's simply the cleanest smoothest paddle ever!
